There is an old saying in cricket. “Score ‘s on the Board”. It refers to a valuable thing, a mark of achievement and maybe prove too difficult to surpass.
The hard working YMCC Committee having been getting their hands dirty again, this time the benefit will be obvious to all.
The electronic scoreboard is being permanently mounted in front of the new Machinery Shed and will be hard wired in.
This will further add to the standard of Hargreaves Oval for player, officials and spectators alike.
The evidence was again there on Thursday as our volunteers completed the concrete pour late in the afternoon.
The frame has been constructed by @STF Engineering and is not far away from being bolted in.
With about five weeks to go until the season kicks off, the preparations are nearing full steam ahead.
