School's back and Woolworths Cricket Blast (WWCB) is back.
Our first session for 2023 is on at our Mulwala Headquarters, Lonsdale Reserve Oval this Friday, 10th February. With Country Week Tennis operating out of Victoria Park, the WWCB is heading to Mulwala Footy Ground to start our series of Mini Games.
For the next four Fridays (10th 17th, 24th February & 3rd March) the WWCB program is playing min-games in our sessions as we look to introduce match rules to the group.
Junior Blasters (5yos-7yos) will be playing 6'ers Cricket and Continuous Cricket for the 60-minutes session, while the Master Blasters (8yos-12yos) will be playing 6-a-side and 8-a-side, depending on numbers, to prepare them for the transition into Under 12s Junior cricket.
The All Girls Cricket League is looking to play a game or two against an opposition club, so match play becomes even more important for the girls' development.
